Peer Advising

The Peer Advising Committee is revising, editing and adding to the Handbook that is given out to all First Years. New additions include an Index (for quick reference), Highlight boxes with special tips for First Years, and a Wahoo Dictionary so that First Years can understand what we’re talking about here on grounds.

Academic Affairs

Chair: Thomas Howard

Members: Andrew Jehl and Michelle Fox

The Academic Affairs Committee is responsible for addressing student concerns of an academic nature, working with administration to improve curriculum and academic opportunities, administering the College of Arts and Sciences Research Grants.

New with the committee: The Academic Affairs Committee is working towards awarding the College of Arts and Sciences Research Grants with the Undergraduate Research Network,  and working to provide alternative academic opportunities for students interested in showing proficiency in the Spanish Language who previously would have Minored in Spanish. The committee is also promoting Student Initiated Courses and working to develop portions of the ASC CLAS Handbook.
